Wilshire Consumer Credit will try to keep your account open as long as possible! I had a title loan with them and just paid it off last month, but I noticed that my account was still active this month. I got a letter in the mail and an email that stated my account was paid in full. When I check my account this afternoon, seeing that it was still active, it showed that I still owed a little over one hundred dollars. When I called I was told I would have to pay the amount and call them back. I did so, but I got a different representative on the line that told me I still owed. Not sure about their practices. I am still working on getting my money back and ensuring the account is closed. This company is very dishonest and untrustworthy.
