I found an offer so great on eBay that I jumped at the chance. It seemed so real to me, I thought I could even start selling on eBay. A lady by the name of Lisa Matthews was selling from a stolen account, unfortunately. She took $1,400 from me and paid it into a different account from the eBay site.
I spoke with an eBay representative over the phone. They informed me that offers, like the one that I had bought into, are not even allowed on their site. There have been several incidents like this before. I wish that I had been more educated about the dangers of buying on eBay. Let this be a warning to you!
