They have horrible customer service, poor construction quality, and expensive prices. They ruined the foundation of our home. It was newly built from bottom to top. My wiThe flooring was fine and I put a lifetime worth of savings into it. We trusted First Texas Homes, but they took advantage of us. We did not live in our house even a month before we noticed there was something wrong. There were cracks in the foundation, the floors were uneven, and the drywall was splitting! If we were to wait for anything longer to happen we might have had the second-floor collapse because the ceilings were caving in. The house was clearly unfit to live in. We are fighting to have it completely rebuilt. First Texas is refusing to cooperate. Bad contractors.

Hello, I came across your post after doing some research on First Texas Homes. I bought a FTH that was built in 1999 about a year ago. I have problems with the home because back in ’99 2nd floor weight bearing walls were placed under no support beams that could support weight bearing walls. So now I have a second floor with crooked floor, collapsing walls, and roof problems because of their lacking building techniques. I was wondering if you ever found a solution to your problems. I tried reaching a lawyer but he couldn’t take it any where. And I’m filled with frustration and anger because these problems didn’t come up with the inspection when buying he home. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
