Dr. Babbit takes advantage of the first-year freshman in college. He says that he will pay them a large sum of money to be his assistant. For a student with limited hours to spend working amongst studies, it is an appealing job.
I replied to the job myself. He said that all I had to do was handle his mail, bills, and shopping. It sounded odd for a professor, but he needed help immediately, and I needed the money.
On my first day, I ran multiple errands for him, including picking up his dry cleaning, taking his dog for a walk, and doing the grocery shopping. I did it all with the money that I had because he didn’t give me anything. Once I finished, he refused to pay me back or give me a paycheck. Waste of time and now I am out about $200.
