These are the kind of extended warranties that you have been warned about. They offer a variety of packages and each has only a certain amount of coverage. The only one that makes sense is the powertrain plus package, but they charge you an insane amount of money upfront and the monthly payment is ridiculous. It seemed sensible to me, but then when I tried to use the warranty, I was only eligible to get the gaskets covered because I have to be with Car Guard for a full year before anything can be fully covered. I was not told this at the start.
